This natural park allows participants to engage in a variety of interactive activities with dolphins, including swimming,

Dolphin kisses: You kiss the Dolphin and you get a wet one back
Belly rides: Hold on to the Dolphin’s pectoral fins as she swims fast upside down. Unforgettable!
Dancing and a handshake: well not a handshake, more like a fin shake!

The tour includes a comprehensive orientation session, professional trainers, and a small group setting to ensure a personalized and safe experience. Participants will learn about dolphin anatomy, behavior, and conservation efforts while enjoying hands-on interactions.

Pickup from Hotel:

: Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Punta Cana. The transfer to the dolphin park usually takes about 10-15 minutes.

Arrival and Orientation:

Upon arrival at the dolphin park, you'll be greeted by professional trainers and staff. You'll start with an orientation session where you'll learn about dolphin behavior, anatomy, and conservation efforts.

Interactive Dolphin Encounter:

The main event is the interactive dolphin encounter, where you'll have the opportunity to swim with dolphins, receive dolphin kisses, enjoy belly rides, and even dance with them. This session typically lasts around 60 minutes.

Can you swim with Dolphins in Punta Cana?

Yes, you can swim with Dolphins in Punta Cana! There are several Dolphin aquariums or Dolphinariums in Punta Cana. Some offer swimming with Dolphins in an ocean pen and others in specially equipped swimming pools. Although the ocean may be a more “natural setting” to swim with dolphins in Punta Cana, from a picture and experience standpoint, a pool is widely considered a better option. A pool has better visibility than the ocean so you can see the dolphin swimming a great deal more and the pictures are usually of better quality due to the water’s visibility.

Can you take photos?

No, photos are not permitted on the tour. A professional photographer will take photos of you and your group and you will have the opportunity to buy them after the excursion.

Will I have to wear a life jacket?

Yes, life jackets are required for all water programs. Staff will provide the appropriate jacket for you.

Can I go as an observer only?

Yes, you can accompany your group simply as an observer and not swim with the dolphins. The price for an observer is reduced but please remember than you cannot take photos even as an observer. There is an Observer option at checkout.

What is the duration of the Dolphin Swim tour?

Expect to be away from your hotel for approximately 4 hours. This time frame includes transport and the excursion experience.

Are pregnant women allowed on the tour?

Pregnant women may not participate in the Dolphin Explorer swim.

Are children permitted on the tour?

Children must be at least 6 years old and 3 feet tall to participate in the Dolphin Royal Swim.
